01 — Services
Three engagements.
One discipline.
Defined scope.
Each Brindolo engagement is designed around a specific kind of work. The scope is clear before you commit, the price is fixed, and the advisor is senior throughout.
Back to Home02 — Our Methodology
How we approach
each engagement.
Every engagement begins with a short discovery period in which we seek to understand the decision the organisation is facing and the context surrounding it. That understanding shapes the work before a word of the brief is written.
From there, the process is iterative. We share working drafts early, hold structured review sessions, and revise based on what we learn from each round of leadership input. The goal is not to deliver a polished final document as a surprise — it is to build toward one that reflects a genuine shared understanding.
Quality assurance in our practice is not a checkbox. It means that every document we produce is reviewed by a principal before it reaches the client — not just for accuracy, but for the quality of the reasoning and the precision of the language.
We do not extend engagements past their defined scope without an explicit conversation. If we discover that additional work is warranted, we raise it as a separate discussion — not as an assumption that the project now includes something it did not before.

Brand Foundation
Engagement
A multi-month engagement in which the advisory team works alongside leadership to articulate the foundations of a brand — the company's role in its market, the audience the company is most useful to, the shape of the offer, and the principles that guide language and visual form.
Deliverables include a written brand foundation document, a workshop in which leadership and senior staff align on it, and a short companion brief designed for circulation among partner agencies. The foundation document is written to be used as a reference over time — not as a report that dates quickly.
Written brand foundation document covering role, audience, offer shape, and guiding principles
Leadership alignment workshop facilitated by the lead advisor
Companion brief for design, communications, and agency partners
Two rounds of iterative review with the leadership team
Process steps
- 1.
Introductory sessions with the leadership team to understand the company, its current situation, and the decisions the foundation needs to support
- 2.
Advisory analysis and first draft of the foundation document, shared for review before any workshop takes place
- 3.
Facilitated alignment workshop with leadership and selected senior staff — designed to stress-test the draft, not simply present it
- 4.
Final document revision, companion brief production, and formal handover
Process steps
- 1.
Structured interviews with a sample of current customers — asking about language, perception, and how they describe the company to others
- 2.
Competitor language scan — reviewing the owned content of principal alternatives to map the language landscape the positioning must navigate
- 3.
Workshop one: presenting research findings and working through positioning options with the team
- 4.
Workshop two: reviewing and refining the draft messaging architecture, confirming final positions

Positioning & Messaging
Workshop
A focused engagement that produces a positioning statement and a working messaging architecture for a single audience — for example, a B2B segment the company is moving toward or a market it is entering for the first time.
Includes interviews with current customers, a competitor language scan, two facilitated workshops, and a written messaging architecture with sample copy at three lengths. Suited to organisations that know broadly who they want to address but need precision in how they do it.
Customer interviews — structured conversations with existing clients about language and perception
Competitor language scan — mapping how alternatives position themselves in writing
Two facilitated workshops with the relevant leadership and commercial team members
Written messaging architecture with sample copy at long, medium, and short lengths

Brand Voice
Critique
A short engagement in which a senior brand advisor reads a sampling of current owned content — website pages, sales decks, recent email communications — and produces a written reading of the company's current voice, the patterns that repeat across materials, and a short set of considered recommendations.
Suited to organisations whose voice has drifted in different rooms over time — where the website sounds different from the sales materials, or where the tone has accumulated without being chosen. The critique is honest and specific; it is not a report that tells you what you already know.
Review of a sampling of owned content (up to twelve pages or equivalent)
Written voice reading — what patterns are present, what they communicate, where they conflict
A short, specific set of recommendations for voice development
Delivered within ten working days of receiving materials
Process steps
- 1.
You share a selection of owned materials — website pages, email sequences, sales decks, or any written content that represents the brand
- 2.
The senior advisor reads the materials as a whole — looking at patterns across, not just isolated passages
- 3.
A written critique is produced: current voice patterns, what they communicate to a reader, and where they are working against the brand
- 4.
Recommendations are delivered in writing — specific, actionable, and brief
